Aldersgate College was founded in 1965 by Methodist lay leaders, Mrs. Pilar D. Galima and Mr. Froilan B. Calata, under the jurisdiction of the Northern Philippines Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, Inc.
Aldersgate offers a Graduate School for Management, Education and Divinity. It also offers undergraduate programs through its School of Business and Accountancy (SBA), School of Informatics (SI), School of Hospitality Management (SHM), School of Criminology (SC), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), School of Medical Sciences (SMS), and the College of Arts, Sciences and Education (CASE). Basic Education and Senior High School are also offered in Aldersgate. Aldersgate is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities – Accrediting Agency, Inc. (ACSCU-AAI) and the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
Aldersgate School of Arts and Music is being established to serve the children and youth’s overwhelming interest in music and drama. In this respect, trainings in voice, piano, organ, guitar and brass band instruments are offered.
This 55 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
