The History of La Consolacion University Philippines

La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) is a private educational institution founded in 1937. The school was formerly known as the University of Regina Carmeli until it was converted to its present name in 2012 following the decision that all schools being run by the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolacion would be under one name.

Academic Highlights

At present, La Consolacion University Philippines offers undergraduate and graduate programs in education, business, social science, medical and healthcare, computer studies, tourism, hospitality, administration, language, engineering, communications, and humanities. The university also has a senior high school program with Academic, Tech-Voc, Sports, and Arts and Design strands. Other offerings include short-term Technical-Vocational courses and Non-degree certificate programs in the Arts. Through its unceasing mission of achieving academic excellence, the university has been granted with Level 3 status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) and has received an ISO certification.

The La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) Teatro Kolehiyo,conducted a community extension activity at the Tahanang Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita (TMMR).The outreach activity was participated by students from the different college departments.

Admissions

Enrollment Procedures for Regular College Applicants

1. Proceed to the Admissions Office and ensure that all requirements needed for enrollment were accomplished and/or submitted (e.g. Original Form 138, 1pc2x2 picture, Good Moral Certificate, Photocopy of NSO/PSA Birth Certificate, entrance examination).
2. Proceed to the SAS Office for the Drug Testing Fee (P150.00)
3. Proceed to the Mobile Drug Testing (Mini Bus Near Cassiciacum Student Center)
4. Proceed to the Health Services Unit for Medical Check-up
5. Proceed to the Registrar's Office for Assessment.
6. Proceed to the Finance Office for initial payment.
7. Proceed to the Main Library, 2nd floor of the Main Building, for ID picture taking.
8. Proceed to the 2nd Floor, Café Monica, to purchase/order uniform, ID lanyard and ID Protector.
