The History of Asia Pacific College

Asia Pacific College (APC) was established in 1991 as a non-profit joint venture between IBM Philippines and the SM Foundation. It was envisioned as a learning institution that produces graduates who fulfill information technology industry demands.

Asia Pacific College emphasizes industry-academe links, orienting their programs and faculty toward industry needs. APC's cornerstones are its IT curriculum, industry-experienced faculty and its six-month internship program. The College is devoted to advancing knowledge and educating students in information technology, commerce, engineering, accountancy, entrepreneurship, multimedia arts and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the global community in the 21st century.

Asia Pacific College, empowered by education and industry professionals as faculty and a balanced curriculum, aims to provide business and the information and communications technology industry in the Philippines and in the global community lifelong learning graduates who are anchored on the principles of integrity and professionalism.

Life in Asia Pacific College

The Industry-Academe Cooperative Education Program, also known as the I-ACE Program, is an internship program of the Asia Pacific College, in which students on their senior year are assigned to work full-time for a company for a period of two consecutive terms.

On their senior year, APC students enter the program. They are assigned to work for a company assigned during the internship placement period), for a duration of two consecutive terms of APC's tri-mestral school calendar.
