The History of Eton College Vancouver

As Eton College Canada we opened our doors in July 2003 and was designated by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of British Columbia in 2005. The program offerings grew from 3 programs to a current offering of 14 career and academic programs covering the gamut of travel, tourism, hospitality, flight attendant, and business administration areas.

We signed our first articulation agreement in 2007 with Royal Roads University located in Victoria BC, and became a LinkBC affiliate partner in 2008.

In 2009, we moved to our new campus, large enough to accommodate our new on-site library and communications resource center for students. In recent years, we also signed articulation agreements with Capilano University in North Vancouver and Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu.

Eton College received its Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation in June 2010, a designation that is recognized globally as a symbol of quality education and consumer protection.

Building on our strengths, strategic alliances, expert team of faculty and staff, and a strong desire to provide students with more abilities and knowledge to meet the labour demands of a growing Canadian market, we continue developing new programs and offering students global experiences and knowledge.

Academic Highlights

Students are assessed for preparedness in all four English skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) for entry into Eton College’s career and academic programs.

Life in Eton College Vancouver

Eton College is a college that supports students from the beginning til the end. From my experience here, I have learned to think outside the box, to be a leader, work in teams, and presentation skills. My advice to future students is to enjoy your time in class and learn from it because it will be useful for your real work life after.
