The History of Institute of Agri-Food Technology
The Institute of Agri-Food Technology (ITA) is a specialized public college training center under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ). This is the best choice of training institution in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, food processing, animal production, farm machinery, and equine field.

Life in Institute of Agri-Food Technology
To be eligible, you must have training equivalent to a Quebec Secondary School Diploma (DES) and meet the specific prerequisites for the program. You must also meet the requirements for fluency in the French language.
Any candidate who does not answer any of the following statements must demonstrate that he has the level of French expected to undertake college studies:
-Candidates having studied in a secondary establishment in Quebec;
-Candidates having studied in a French-speaking establishment in Canada;
-Candidates having studied in France, Belgium or Monaco;
-Candidates having studied in a French lycée recognized abroad approved.
A candidate answering one of these statements may also have to submit to a test of knowledge of the French language if his academic results are insufficient in the discipline of French at a level comparable (or higher) to the equivalent of a Secondary V in Quebec.
