The History of New York Chiropractic College
New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY is an institution for the education and training of alternative healthcare professionals and academicians. The College has graduate programs in areas such as chiropractic, acupuncture and oriental medicine, and health sciences and education.
The school was founded in New York City as Columbia Institute of Chiropractic by chiropractor Frank Dean in 1919. In 1989, unable to expand in Long Island, (NYCC) purchased the former Eisenhower College campus in Seneca Falls, New York. After two years of renovations the college moved to the Seneca Falls campus in 1991.
(NYCC), a mixed chiropractic and oriental medicine institution, continues to expand and introduce new programs. In addition to a D.C. program, the college now offers programs in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, clinical nutrition, sports nutrition, diagnostic imaging, anatomy, and human anatomy & physiology instruction.

All applicant to the Undergraduate Program must submit:
- Completed Application and non-refundable $50 application fee
- Official high school transcripts must be received for all students with fewer than 36 quarter (24 semester) hours of transferable college credit. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the Office of the Registrar at the home institution.
- Official Transcripts from all colleges attended (if applicable)
- SAT or ACT scores sent directly from the testing center, listed on the high school transcript or a faxed copy from student. The SAT code for Life University is 7006. The ACT code for Life University is 0845
