The Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate programme by NTU that is structured on a flexible and diverse system that allows students to choose from a broad range of courses that provides holistic education specifically in relevant topics and subfields related to civil engineering.
The programme includes common engineering courses which primarily tackles basic concepts in mathematics, science and fundamental engineering principles, followed by a balanced-mix of core courses in the civil engineering discipline. More specifically, these courses cover basic theory of structures, geotechnical engineering, water resources engineering, engineering drawing & measurement, structural analysis, design in concrete and steel structures, and specialized courses in foundation, transportation and environmental engineering.
