The History of Advent Links-Sauc Education Centre
Advent Links-SAUC is a training centre that offers early childhood teacher training courses for adults that would like to obtain teacher certification under Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and is hosted under the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
The old educational institution called Southeast Asia Union College (SAUC) was established and registered with the Ministry of Education in 1908 and Early Childhood Education was one of the six courses offered in 1971 with 10 students. In 1997, SAUC, began its collaboration with Edith Cowan University in Australia, to offer a Bachelor of Social Science in Children and Family Studies. The following year 1998 Advent Links–SAUC Education Centre was established as a specialized training centre for early childhood and family education.
Our Academic English courses aim to prepare learners for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test and to progress into higher learning and all study disciplines.
