How to select courses you want to enrol in PSB Academy

Lila Sonnenschein L

Once known as Singapore’s Productivity and Standards Board, PSB Academy is known today as “The Future Academy” and as old as Singapore. It uses an approach to education that focuses on what really matters: performance in the New Economy. In 2019, the Academy was conferred “Best Educational Institute - Singapore” by APAC Insider and earned 2 consecutive SBR National Business Awards in 2017/18 in the Education category for outstanding work in the region.

Today, PSB hosts over 12,000 students from over 50 nationalities with its slate of certificate, diploma, degree and short courses.  It consists of roughly 70% Singapore local students and 30% International students, with around 9% from China.

There are English prep courses available for students from non-english speaking countries. If your did not do a language test or your IELTS level is below 5.5. A performance test will be given so that the level of proficiency of the candidate is determined. (Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). The candidate is required to complete the missing levels (each level equals to 2 months of study) before he or she can commence on his/her study.

A foundational certificate course is usually required for students with O-level certificates or equivalent.

After which, one can pick a diploma course (which takes around 9 months).

Next 16 months, the student will pick courses from a partner University, after which one will graduate with a bachelor degree.

There are other short courses and also master level courses available. And each pathway towards the program is slightly different. Please write to us if you have interest or questions on how to enrol.
