Pao P

Perhaps you are interested in a law enforcement career in the future. Maybe you are thinking if you fit the bill in becoming one that maintains peace and order in your community. To become a policeman is a great honor as well as a momentous responsibility that not everyone has the drive to take on. But with these tasks come rewarding benefits, compensation and good retirement pension, not to mention the stability of your career since you will be working directly under the government.

Here are some of the requirements in becoming one of the Police Officers in the PNP:

  • If you are a graduate from a college or university and have a Bachelor’s Degree, you are eligible to take the PNP Entrance Examination (NAPOLCOM Entrance Exam). This includes being a cadet of PNPA (Philippine National Police Academy) and passing the qualifying exam and training to become a Police Officer.

  • As of April 22, 2018, there are no more height requirements for those who want to become a police officer.

  • You must be of good moral character.

  • You must also be a Filipino Citizen and must fall between the ages of 21-30 years old.

  • After you pass the exam, you can then apply for a position at the NAPOLCOM.
